Endorsed by the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 302

I am pleased to announce I have been endorsed by the IUOE Local 302 for Borough Assembly. I look forward to advancing working class families issues at the Borough assembly and ensuring fairbanks is a place where we can thrive. In 1905, 29 members successfully obtained approval for our initial charter to become a recognized local union of the IUOE. Over the years, their territory has changed. Originally they had jurisdiction through most of Washington, Alaska (1937), and even into Montana (1933) for Hoisting & Portable (construction) operations. They've expanded our jurisdiction geographically and added Stationary Operators (building service maintenance, public sector roles, etc.) throughout their three-state jurisdiction. I am proud to be endorsed by the Local 302.
